Navid Negahbani completed his Bachelors and Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering in Iran. Then he moved to Italy to pursue his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering in Politecnico di Milano. His  thesis emphasized on design and control of parallel robots with linear actuators to simulate the behavior of the sea in the wind tunnel. After graduating in 2015, he worked for the Industry for seven years as an R&D project manager. Since 2022 he has joined the iCORE lab as a post doctoral researcher focusing on mechanical dewatering of moist wood feedstocks.
