Hunter Gilbert received the B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rice University, Houston, TX, in 2010. He received the Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Vanderbilt University, Nashville, TN, in 2016. He joined the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering (MIE) at LSU as a Research Assistant Professor in August 2016. From 2016-2019 he held a postdoctoral fellowship from the Alexander von Humboldt foundation to conduct research at the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems in Stuttgart, Germany. Since 2017 he has been an Assistant Professor in the MIE Department at LSU.
