Vanessa is an undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Robotics. Before coming to engineering, she spent six years teaching Pre-K, and brings that same care for clear communication and hands on problem solving to her work in the lab. Her career interests center on manufacturing, robotics, and prosthetics, and she is drawn to projects that combine mechanical design with real-world impact for the people who use them. She looks forward to continuing to grow as an engineer and to applying what she learns in the lab to a future career in robotics.
