Landon Knight is currently pursing a B.S. degree in Computer Engineering with a minor in Robotics Engineering at Louisiana State University. At 15 years old he joined the Trinidad State College Robotics Team and would stay with the team for the next three years. During those three years he designed, built, and programmed the autonomous robots which participated in the Colorado Space Grant Consortium (COSGC) Sand Dunes Competition. His final year with the program he fulfilled his duties as Robotics Team Captain and lead the team to win the competition, and achieve Overall Grand Prize at the Colorado Undergraduate Research Symposium. He currently does research for the marine robotics lab in the iCore Laboratory. He plans to pursue a Master’s Degree once he graduates in May 2027.
