Jude Rogers is an M.S. student in Mechanical Engineering at Louisiana State University. His research interests include robotic perception, simultaneous localization and mapping, 3D reconstruction, and autonomous systems, with a particular focus on deploying perception algorithms on resource-constrained robotic platforms. His current work involves optimizing learned monocular SLAM for an NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano and developing planning and monitoring tools for autonomous robots operating in hazardous industrial environments. His previous research applied monocular reconstruction and semantic mapping to nasal endoscopy, contributing to an accepted publication at ICPR 2026. He is also interested in field robotics, medical robotics, and bridging the gap between emerging perception research and reliable real-world deployment.
